This guest room is named after Marguerite d’Angoulême (b. 1492), an erudite poet who was described by her contemporary Clément Marot as possessing “a woman’s body, a man’s heart, and an angel’s mind”.

A cozy room, La Margureite is host to a king-size bed. The Renaissance style leaded glass windows look out onto the Romanesque church of Touvre.  The amenities include a shower and a separate toilet.
